Welcome to the Killeen Rotary Club!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your President for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. I am grateful for the confidence our members have placed in me, and I look forward to working alongside an incredible team dedicated to making a difference in our community and around the world.

Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self," is more than a slogan—it is a way of life. Every service project, every scholarship awarded, every meal served, every young leader encouraged, and every helping hand extended reflects our commitment to improving lives.

This year, my vision is simple: Together, We Accomplish More. By strengthening partnerships with fellow Rotary clubs, local businesses, schools, nonprofits, churches, and community leaders, we can multiply our impact and leave a lasting legacy throughout the Killeen area.

I also want to acknowledge that some of our service projects may feel like more than what we are used to doing. However, the purpose behind each effort is to create awareness and truly live out our commitment to service above self. I simply ask that when opportunities arise for us to participate in service projects, you consider being a part of them. You do not have to attend every event—if you miss one, that is perfectly okay. But when you are able, come out and join us. Wear your Rotary shirt, your Rotary cap, or anything that represents who we are. Our goal is to highlight Rotary in the community, working together with other Rotary clubs so that our impact is collective, not individual.

One of the highlights of our service this year was Rotary Youth Leadership Award Summer Camp—it was truly amazing to see the joy, growth, and impact it had on our youth. We invite you to be part of that experience next year by coming out to volunteer or by registering to complete a background check so you can serve alongside us. Opportunities like this are where Rotary’s mission truly comes to life. We are also proud to support programs like RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), which help develop the next generation of leaders through education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences.

Whether you are a longtime Rotarian, a prospective member, or a visitor exploring what Rotary is all about, I invite you to join us. Come experience the fellowship, integrity, leadership, and service that make Rotary one of the world's most respected service organizations.

There is a place for everyone who has a heart to serve. Together we can feed the hungry, mentor our youth, support education, promote peace, improve health, and strengthen our community—one project, one family, and one life at a time.
